A Yemen news provider Sabanews.net and the University of Aden published four articles on KAB in Yemen.

The first Article covers the event "KAB Awareness Raising Workshop" that was held on January 19, 2011 in Sanaa in the presence of H.E Dr. Ibrahim Hugari, Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training and Ms. Rania Bikhazi, Entreprise Development Specialist at the International Labor Organization, Regional Office for Arab States.

The second Article, dated January 18, 2011, covers the KAB implementation plan in technical and vocational training centres for the year 2011-2012.

The Third and fourth Articles dated January 26, 2011 cover the KAB Workshop that was held under the patronage of H.E the Minister of higher education Dr. Salah Ali Basra at the Mercure Hotel in Yemen.

The Youth Entrepreneurship Facility (YEF) is looking for 50 enthusiastic, results-oriented, committed, and motivated young professionals who have graduated from colleges or higher learning institutions in the fields of economics, social science, management, business administration, community development, and ICT to join the Kazi Nje Nje!

Kazi Nje Nje!” is a one year apprenticeship program implemented by YEF for the purpose of providing practical exposure, capacity building, and professional development opportunity for aspiring young professional BDS providers freshly graduating from colleges. The “Kazi Nje Nje!” builds your capacity to support entrepreneurship and private sector development in Tanzania. It will give you a good basis to work as a professional business management consultant or even start your own consulting business in the future.

For the month of October 2010 the Magazine "Entrepreneur" issued in Saudia Arabia featured two articles related to KAB:

1. An interview with Ms. Rania Bikhazi, Enterprise Development specialist at the International Labour Organization Regional Office for Arab States, on self-employment, entrepreneurship and the implementation of KAB in the Arab Region.

2. The implementation of KAB in Palestine

The ILO Enterprise Department will be hosting two events at the Global Entrepreneurship Week event at the UN Palais on the 19th of November 2009. The week is devoted to unleashing ideas on issues that matter most to present day society, ranging from poverty reduction to fostering a global culture which recognizes entrepreneurs as drivers of economic and social prosperity.

 A series of workshops, talks and events will be hosted by the ILO, ITC, UNCTAD, UNDP, and UNECE where each will showcase their work in the field of promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. The ILO, in particular, will be hosting two events entitled: "Promoting an Enterprise Culture" and "Unleashing Entrepreneurship" with interactive games, and activities to promote its work in entrepreneurship around the globe.

 All staff and interns are invited to join in;while for externals (former staff and former interns) it will be necessary to contact a representative at the ILO office for more information. More information on the event and its activities can be found at unleashingideas.org, and a search for activities in Switzerland in the "Get Involved" section, will show a list of events to attend throughout the week.
